When Pokemon Go debuted last July it took the world by storm, instantly becoming a worldwide gaming and cultural phenomenon.
A mere few hours after its launch, the servers were already down. The demand for the game was so high they just couldn’t cope.
As people in search of Pokemon became an increasingly common sight, other businesses jumped on the Pokemon Go train too. Shops became Pokestops or Pokemon Gyms. Restaurants started making Pokemon-themed pizzas and burgers. And dozens of marketing specialists wrote blog articles on how to use Pokemon Go to succeed in business.
But a mere two months later, it looks like Pokemon Go is already dead, or at least on its way there.
