Spending much of his career cast as the klutzy chubby kid, 32-year-old Jonah Hill made his film debut in I Heart Huckabees in 2004 before catching the eye of Judd Apatow who gave him a small appearance in The 40-Year-Old Virgin. Continuing to work with Apatow, Hill gave his breakthrough performance in Superbad and has since become a staple in the industry thanks to comedies like Knocked Up and 21 Jump Street as well as dramas like Moneyball and The Wolf of Wall Street.
Working with Brad Pitt in Moneyball in 2011, Pitt encouraged Hill to shed some weight for his upcoming role in 21 Jump Street. The 250-pound beer-loving Hill took Pitt’s advice and started counting calories and working out. Shortly after, Hill dropped 50 pounds and shocked the world when he took the red carpet for the premiere looking like an entirely different person. Unfortunately, the award-winning funnyman hasn’t been able to maintain his low-carb and beer-free diet with his weight now topping the charts at 270 pounds.
